Here’s what you can order with your Vivint home system
Unlike most smart home companies, Vivint’s smart home systems are customized for renters. Find out about some of the more in demand devices and services:
Burglary detection
Door alarms and window sensors can alert you when an uninvited guest enters your place. Get a notification to your mobile device when an alarm triggers, or arm and disarm your alarms and cameras remotely to let in maintenance or guests when you’re at work.
Fire and safety detectors
Smoke detectors should come with your rental unit, but probably not other CO or water alarms. Install a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or water sensor to notify you and Vivint’s monitoring team to catastrophes before it’s too late.
Security cameras
A security cameras may be wirelessly put up so you can keep an eye on indoor rooms. A doorbell camera lets you see -- and talk to -- visitors at the door. Watch live HD feeds and notifications about lurkers through the mobile security app.
24-hour monitoring
A big benefit of going with Vivint is the monitoring agents backing up tripped alarms. If a sensor triggers, your monitoring experts quickly calls you to make sure you’re in a safe location. Then they’ll contact the proper emergency personnel.
Home automation components
Smart components, like smart bulbs, can be installed to make your apartment more efficient. Some items like a smart thermostat or smart door locks may need prior landlord approval.
The Vivint App
Your Fort Lauderdale security system is able to be managed from home or away by using the Vivint App. View real-time security feeds, remotely turn on and off devices, or set times for alarms and lights. Then get notifications to your phone if a device triggers or a camera detects unsavory activity.
